Fireworks Spectacular 2010
The next Firework Spectacular which attracts hundreds of visitors and island folk every year is scheduled to take place on SATURDAY 6th NOVEMBER 2010 (to be confirmed) at 7pm with the Galley being set alight and then FIREWORK BLAST OFF shortly there after.
This is a truly spectacular island event when a Galley is torched at the start of the celebrations and as the fire gains its hold the first barrage of mortars and rockets are launched from the castle battlements. A mighty bonfire adds to the drama played out beneath the castle. This is a fabulous night out for all the family.
Hot food and drinks available at the seal boat shop.
The display can last for up to 30 minutes and as if transported back in time it is easy to imagine a massive Clan battle in progress as the Castle seems to be under siege with rockets and mortars as many more powerful fireworks are detonated.
Tickets are available in advance from MacLeod Estate office or on the night at the Gate, seal boat back drive entrance.
Please park at the main carpark.
ADULTS £4.00 : CHILDREN £2.00
