Originally the Estate Factor’s house and then used as the castle laundry during the 19th century.
This period cottage dates back to the early 1700s.

Situated on a small promontory directly below the castle’s ramparts, this wonderful house enjoys stunning views of Loch Dunvegan and Dunvegan Castle. The cottage can accommodate five guests (one double, one twin and one single bedroom).  Apart from one step, the layout is currently on the ground floor. The property also features a spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining room.

N.B.  Due to Laundry Cottage’s proximity to the castle and the seal trips operating from the castle jetty nearby, at the height of the season this area of the grounds can be very busy through the day but completely tranquil from 5pm onwards when guests can enjoy the tranquility of the castle gardens in blissful isolation.
