MacLeod Table Cafe – Cafe Assistant Manager

Experienced in a similar position, you will provide strong team leadership in this hands-on role and bring some bright ideas for providing the best food and service for our visitors to this popular busy cafe. The ideal candidate will be experienced in food preparation with high standards of customer care.  They will have food hygiene knowledge and appropriate certification, be computer literate and experienced in cash handling.

MacLeod Tables Cafe Cook/Baker (part-time)

As an experienced cook/baker with enthusiasm and a passion for quality food you will be responsible to the Cafe Manager, ensuring ingredients, preparation, cooking, taste and presentation are consistently of a high standard. With an ability to bring new ideas, combining fresh local and seasonal produce, you will play a key role in this popular and busy café. Food hygiene knowledge and appropriate certification is essential.,

MacLeod Tables Cafe Assistants

You will pride yourself on the highest standards of customer care. Ideally with a current basic food hygiene certificate, you will ensure the cafe premises are always scrupulously clean and all our delicious freshly prepared food is beautifully presented. Food preparation, cash-handling and touch-screen till operations skills are required for which training will be provided.

Boatmen/women

We are looking for marine operatives to join our existing team at one of our most popular and busy visitor attractions at Dunvegan. With responsibility for helming our traditional clinker-built boats with up to 7 passengers on short trips to see the Loch Dunvegan resident seal colony, the ideal candidate will have the required Level II Powerboat licence with commercial endorsements: VHF radio, Sea Survival and First Aid (or acceptable equivalents). Training will be provided.

Visitor Facilities Cleaner

We require some extra help to keep our visitor areas spotlessly throughout the season. Applicants must have very high standards and preferably be able to accommodate part-time working seven days per week.

Campsite Wardens (1st June to 31st August 2019)

Voted No.1 UK Campsite by the Daily Telegraph and nominated for the Great Outdoors Magazine annual ‘Campsite of the Year 2019’ awards, we are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and hardworking seasonal Campsite Wardens with a genuine sense of pride in their work and varied skill sets for next season. You must have some experience in retail, cash handling and general site maintenance. Training and accommodation will be provided to successful applicants. You will require your own transport for this post due to the site’s remote location at the foot of the Cuillin mountains. Onsite training will begin in early March. We offer competitive rates of pay, in-house training, free shared accommodation plus the chance to work with a great team in wonderful surroundings.

Estate Office Administrator

Dunvegan Castle & Gardens is an iconic part of Scotland’s heritage and centrepiece of the 42,000-acre MacLeod Estate on the Isle of Skye. As the ancestral home of the Chiefs of clan MacLeod for 800 years, Dunvegan is an award-winning 5* tourist attraction and key driver of economic growth in the region, acting as a magnet for over 168,000 visitors every year.

We are looking for a full-time Estate Office Administrator to join the estate team and act as a first point of contact for the high volume of enquiries our busy estate office receives, in addition to being responsible for a diverse range of administrative duties. You will be a highly organised and self-motivated team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks and problem solve under pressure. We offer a competitive salary and package commensurate with this full-time position with a start date before or after the 17 June 2019. The annual salary for this role is £19,280 and the closing date for applications is the 7 June 2019.
