TERMS & CONDITIONS
  • Dunvegan Castle & Gardens Admission Tickets and e-tickets are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged, refunded or replaced after purchase.
  • Dunvegan Castle & Gardens e-tickets and Friends of Dunvegan cards must be presented at the Ticket Office on arrival in order to be validated.
  • Dunvegan Castle & Gardens reserves the right to amend opening hours, events, promotional offers and/or restrict public access at any time without notice.
  • Friends of Dunvegan allows unlimited entry to Dunvegan Castle & Gardens by the named cardholder only during our seasonal opening hours. This card is non-transferable and must be shown to estate staff on request. Admission will not be granted without a valid Friends of Dunvegan card. The Friends Card is not valid without a signature or ID that does not match the named cardholder.
  • Free parking is available to visitors during our open season. There are dedicated parking bays for coaches and minibuses. All RVs and campervans must park in the overflow car park at the rear.
  • The car park toilets are only open during our seasonal opening times. No overnight parking is permitted.
  • All users of the castle car park do so at entirely their own risk. The MacLeod Estate will not accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.
  • Please keep to the garden footpaths and follow the safety signs at all times due to some uneven paths and steep drops.
  • All children under 15yrs must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Dogs are welcome in the gardens, but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted inside the castle unless they are assistance dogs.
  • Cycling, e-scooters and BBQs are not permitted in the gardens.
  • Non‑commercial use of photographic, film and video equipment including wearable devices (without flash, selfie sticks and tripods) are permitted inside the castle.
  • Drone filming is not permitted onsite. We may authorise pre-approved commercial drone filming applications subject to the necessary insurance and licence documentation.
  • Mobile phones must be in silent mode or switched off inside the castle in consideration of other visitors.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission to Dunvegan Castle & Garden of any person if circumstances reasonably so require and our decision shall be final and binding. We also reserve the right to suspend or cut short a particular visit if circumstances reasonably so require.
  • Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by negligence, the MacLeod Estate will not be held liable for any loss or damage suffered by any Ticket holder and any loss or expense due to circumstances beyond the MacLeod Estate’s control.

Your access to and use of the Dunvegan Castle & Gardens website (“the Website”) is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.

Severance
If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court or competent jurisdiction then such Terms and Conditions shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scots law and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
