Bonnie Prince Charlie had to leave Skye in a hurry, but you can stay for as long as you like to enjoy the varied wildlife of Loch Dunvegan and the spectacular views of the Outer Hebrides across the Minch.

Departing from the jetty below Dunvegan Castle, one of our traditionally built clinker boats will take you on a two hour wildlife cruise of Loch Dunvegan.

For the more adventurous, we offer two hour fishing expeditions for up to four people. With their unrivalled knowledge of good spots for pollock, mackerel and coalfish, our boatmen will do their very best to ensure that you don’t return empty handed. Rods and tackle are provided free of charge.

1 April – 30 September
Our boat cruises and fishing expeditions are available daily between 9am-11am and 5pm-7pm subject to capacity, sea and weather conditions.

No online booking facility is currently available. The minimum number of people we take is two and the maximum is strictly limited to four per trip. We advise that you bring warm and wet weather clothing. All our boat trips are subject to sea and weather conditions. In the event of bad weather leading to a cancellation, your booking fee will be transferable or refundable.

Please call our Ticket Office on +44 (0) 1470521206 (ext. 214) during our open season to book a Loch cruise or fishing trip.
