A Midsummer Night’s Dream Delights at Dunvegan Castle & Gardens

Visitors were treated to an unforgettable evening of open-air theatre on Sunday, July 13th, as The Three Inch Fools brought Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to life on the historic grounds of Dunvegan Castle & Gardens.

The weather delivered a perfect summer’s day, bathing the gardens in golden light and setting the scene for an enchanting performance. Even the midges, a frequent companion to outdoor Highland events, kept mostly at bay, especially during the first half of the show.

Performing with their trademark energy, creativity, and wit, The Three Inch Fools captivated the crowd with their lively retelling of the classic tale. Their dynamic cast, quick changes, and imaginative use of minimal props brought laughter and joy to audience members of all ages.

Audience feedback was glowing, with many praising both the magical setting and the lively performance.
