Dunvegan Castle Donates £4,893 to Local Charities from 2025 Snowdrop Days

Dunvegan Castle Donates £4,893 to Local Charities from 2025 Snowdrop Days

On Tuesday, 11th March, representatives from Dunvegan Castle’s gardens and events team had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from four local charities to present a donation of £4,893. This sum was raised through contributions received during our 2025 Snowdrop Days, an annual event that invites visitors to enjoy the beauty of early spring while supporting meaningful community causes.

This year, the donation was equally split among the four selected charities, with each receiving £1,223.25:

  • Skye and Lochalsh Mental Health Association
  • The 1st Isle of Skye Brigade
  • Skye Cycle Way
  • Skye Circus Skills

Each of these organizations plays a vital role in supporting the well-being, development, and recreational opportunities of our local community. The funds will help them continue their invaluable work across the Isle of Skye.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who visited Dunvegan Castle during Snowdrop Days and contributed to this fundraising effort. Your generosity helps us support initiatives that make a real difference in our community.
