Record-Breaking Success at this years’ Macmillan Coffee Morning

The annual Macmillan Coffee Morning proved a resounding success once again, bringing together members of the local community in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. This year’s event, held for the first time in the newly refurbished MacLeod Tables Cafe, raised an impressive £1,780.60, the highest amount collected to date.

Since 2019, the coffee morning events have raised over £9,000 for Macmillan, highlighting the ongoing generosity and dedication of the local community.

Luckily,  this year the weather was bright and sunny, allowing both locals and visitors to enjoy the gardens in the best possible conditions. The morning saw a wonderful turnout, including many familiar faces and local regulars who attend the event each year. Guests enjoyed a selection of homemade cakes, hot drinks, and friendly conversation, all while contributing to an important cause.

MacLeod Estate extends its gratitude to the local companies and neighbours who generously donated prizes for the raffle, as well as to the community members and friends who baked cakes and offered their time to help on the day.
